Stop the Hate Crimes!!

My Uncle Kyle posted a sad story on facebook about a 13 year old boy in California, who died tuesday because the other kids constant bullying led him to commit suicide. This is not the first story about kids commiting suicide because of other kids not accepting different people. I don't understand why nothing is being done by the parents or the school authorities or other students over looking the bullying? Someone has to know what is going on. I think more needs to be done about this growing problem. The hate crimes is nothing but getting out of control, and i think those bullying these kids need to face the consequences to full extent of the law. they need to know they cannot get away with this. they are the ones responsible for these kids attempting suicide. and the kids who are being bullied, need to feel comfortable talking to their parents, or their school counselor, their friends, family relatives. Why are parents not catching their kids bullying? or their kids being bullied? I know there are parents out there who work all the time, but 5 minutes wouldn't hurt to take the time to find out what is going on with your kids life at school, socially. i don't get how kids get the pleasure of bullying. i think it just takes away from their problems and insecurities, and so they take it out on a vulnerable person. i am trying not to blame the parents, but its kind of hard not to. I can't imagine some other brat bullying my kids...my mama bear instinct would kick in, and protect my children. Do everything in my power to stop the bullying.

I don't understand why there is Homosexual discrimination? When people say marriage is between a man and a woman, seriously, get over it! How does it hurt, or affect your life? its not like its in anyway hurting you. Everyone has a different lifestyle. People who do not live that type of lifestyle, do not understand them because they do not live it. so they have no reason to discriminate. People need to accept change, and there is no such thing as a "normal" lifestyle.

now that Aliana is in preschool, I have been getting to know the parents of the other kids in their class, observe the other kids, ask the teacher everyday how she is doing, and interacting with the other kids. Its never too early to start teaching your kids the right way to treat other kids. that is to not be mean, share, help the other kids, and to always compliment on their achievements! Aliana is very smart, and she's always saying good job on practically everything me, matt, the twins, and even a couple girls and boys in her preschool class. I know she's only 3, but its never too early to teach your kids!!!

Please we need to do something to stop this bullying! The lives of our kids are depending on us to help them, to teach them that every person is unique, and has a different lifestyle than they do. you can live your life the way you want to, not how society wants you to live it. Be strong and always fight for your rights!
